He couldn't believe it, he had actually made it this far. Ryunosuke Muira, thirteen years of age, recently promoted to Genin. Now, staring at himself in the mirror, his reflection was visible proof of his progress from his time in the academy. It had only been minutes since he had awoken, yet today signified his first day as an official shinobi, which meant a lot more things were available to him now, such as running missions. Not only had he become stronger both physically and mentally, Ryunosuke was now a Genin. No longer would people make fun of him, instead they would hopefully come to recognize him as one of their fellow shinobi. Things such as who the members of his squad might be, or who would be their jounin sensei. Hopefully, he would be as accepting and caring as the academy teachers.
"Sugoi!"
In his hand, was the forehead protector bearing the insignia of Iwagakure. With the rays of light beaming through his room window and onto the metal plate only added a more dramatic effect. His hands shaking unsteadily, Ryunosuke tied the crimson-red forehead protector around the bottom of his neck. Having the cloth part red was common amongst taijutsu specialists, wearing it around his neck was simply for fashion. With a beaming smile, he looked at himself in the mirror, obviously admiring himself excessively. A evil snicker would ensue as he began to day dream about a harem of attractive females all going crazy over his appearance. Ryunosuke quickly snapped out of it, finishing his morning routine. With all the excess energy he was currently getting from excitement, this process would take much shorter then normal. He would be back in front of the mirror in a matter of minutes for a final inspection of himself.
Ryunosuke shuffled his feet around a bit, throwing a few punching combinations in the air, finishing it off with a high kick. It was then that his small blue money pouch slipped out of his pocket, landing on the floor nearby. Noticing it, Ryunosuke bent over picking it up upside down. Normally, this is where people would have turned it around to avoid any money dropping to the floor. However, there would be no need for Ryunosuke as his head lowered in obvious shame of being broke, while a suspicious wind seemed to try and blow away his empty wallet, mocking him. Putting it back into one of the pockets his cloak had, Ryunosuke stood up. There was no hop-; A mission! They offered money rewards right? With this new found solution, Ryunosuke darted out of the door and headed towards the village's administrative building.
"My first mission. How exciting!"
The only time Ryunosuke had been there prior to now was when the Academy had taken them there to visit on field trips and such. These idle thoughts wouldn't continue for long as Ryunosuke managed to reach the building in a few minutes utilizing running a jumping onto buildings to avoid going through crowded areas. Entering the building would be a slight hassle, considering how guarded it was, but he still managed to get through. The inside of the building still failed to disappoint him despite having seen it quite a few times. It was grand, which was expected as it had to accommodate the Tsuchikage himself. Maneuvering through the hallways and such would soon take him to the door to the kage room. Anyone on the other side would soon hear a loud knocking.

"Tsuchikage-sama, these are the forms you need to sign to pass the new constructions on the village gates."
Sykr Zaiaku sat at his desk with an annoyed look on his face. His eyes were fixed at the large amount of paper that were spread out across his desk. Even though his desk was quite large, the piles of paper found it easy to cover almost everything. Throughout the morning, his assistant had been pestering him with the many things he needed to sign. The list seemed to go on and on, forever into a dark abyss. The many decisions constantly ringing throughout his ears and through his mind. His body leaned back into his large chair, making a creaking sound. He shut his eyes and folded his hands together, resting his elbows on the arm rests of his chair. His assistant continuing to place more and more papers on his desk. "Oh, and these are the permits for the new training schedules for all the Academy Students." He opened one of his eyes, looking down at the sheet of paper. Training dummies, targets for kunai and shuriken throwing, a new block of land to built the facility, traps placed across the fields for the Academy Students and a new Kenjutsu instructor from a mountain within Tsuchi no Kuni. Was all of this really needed for just Academy Students? So many irrelevant things seemed to pass over his desk. No one seemed to think through what they were asking from him. His eye moved to a large pile of parchments at the corner of his desk. Within each of the papers were missions that needed to be carried out. He sighed to himself calmly, shutting his eye once again. He attempted to drown out the speech of his assistant with his mind. He could hear the sound of his assistants voice slowly become distorted and drown out. Finally, at peace. Knock, knock. His mind snapped back into reality. His eyes opened, looking at the door. Not saying a word, his assistant already knew what to do. "Oh, who could this be?"The assistant dropped the pile of papers that he was holding on another desk at the side of the room. Watching him walk to the door, Zaiaku wondered if this was the key for making his morning a lot more interesting. The assistant opened up the door, adjusting his glasses by pushing them up his nose. Zaiaku watched as the body of a young teenager was standing at the door. "Yes? Is there something we can help you with?" If this boy needed a mission, it was his lucky day.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Finally, the door had opened. Lowering the fist he had used to knock back down to his waist, Ryunosuke stared intently at the door until it was fully opened. Even before noticing the Tsuchikage himself, the large amounts of paperwork in the office caught Ryunosuke's attention immediately. His fist shot back up again, being clenched with his knuckles facing upwards. Along with this, his eyes seemed to ignite with fire.
"Amazing! The Tsuchikage-sama is truly impressive to be able to work so hard!"
Realizing he might have looked quite odd simply standing there with his fist clenched and a fiery expression, Ryunosuke's cheeks turned a bright red from embarrassment. Scratching the back of his head, he walked into the room slowly. His eyes would remain intently upon the Tsuchikage, as he finally reached the center. Now that he was within speaking distance of the Tsuchikage, he would begin his prepared introduction prior to his arrival here. This was only put together minutes ago as he was at the door, which meant how he visualized it happening in his head felt significantly different then actually doing it. Breathing in deeply, he finally spoke out, in an loud, overenthusiastic tone.
"My name is Ryunosuke Muira! I've come to request a mission! I know that I am without a squad currently, but I believe I can be of help, Tsuchikage-sama!"
By now, he had drawn his spear, Todokimasu mid-sentence and had it held vertically at his right side. His left hand had been raised horizontally above his forehead in a salute. Once finished speaking, his upper body lowered itself quickly into a bow. Now looking at the floor, Ryunosuke felt a bead of sweat roll down the right side of his face. Was he really that nervous? He hadn't even taken in consideration that the Tsuchikage might have been too busy to even deal with someone like him, or what his assistant might be thinking currently. However, ridding himself of these negative thoughts, he raised himself and looked forward. Of course, what could make a better impression then flashing your weapon around?

The assistant had received quite a shock as the teenager blasted past him and into the room. Nevertheless, Zaiaku watched this boy while remaining in the same position that he had been in all morning. The assistant opened his mouth, possibly to protest against the boy being quite rude, but Tsuchikage Zaiaku simply waved one of his hands up to stop the assistant from speaking. At this point, the assistant quickly scurried off to the other side of the room, looking back at some of his paper work and occasionally glimpsing over his shoulder to the teenager.
Zaiaku watched the teenager introduce himself to him, speaking in a way that showed he was very respectable. Good, this kid had respect for the oldies. He liked to see that in the younger generation. It made him feel as though there wouldn't be punks running the village as time passed. He watched him carefully, bring his hands back into the folding position, as the boy drew his spear and held it by his side and then saluting to him. Who was this buffoon? "Jeez, how enthusiastic can you get these days?" He thought to himself as he watched the boy practically screaming to him while only a few paces away. Finishing off with a nice bow, Zaiaku smiled slightly as he continued to just stare at the Genin.
For a period of around ten seconds, the room was quiet. The kid was still in the bowing motion, the assistant was silently reading through a parchment and Zaiaku continued to watch the boy. It was only shortly after this ten second period where the sound of paper shuffling seemed to fill up the room. The Tsuchikage browsed through the many missions that had been sent across his desk. Placing the B's and A's back down onto the table, he quickly skimmed through the C's and D's. He read through one of the D-Ranks that had only been on his desk for an hour or so. It was from the wife of the country's Daimyo. She had lost her pet Kitsune, the family dog.
"This will be perfect for you, and you can rise up from your bow now Ryunosuke-kun. The Earth Country's Daimyo's wife has recently lost her pet dog this morning. The last location it was seen in was in the mountain range just outside the village and being the Daimyo's 'posh' wife, she's too scared to go out and look for him herself. So, this is your job now. Seeing as though most of the other Genin are already out performing tasks, I will partner you up with one Chuunin. I hope you can handle it by yourself."
Zaiaku rose up from his seat, dropping the parchment on the edge of the table, and walked toward the door. Walking out of the door and around the corner, Zaiaku performed Kusa Bunshin no Jutsu • Grass Clone Technique and created a splitting image of himself with by tapping into his bloodline skill of manipulating grass. As the clone stared at him, the clone quickly performed a jutsu. It was Henge no Jutsu • Transformation Technique. As he silently performed the jutsu, the image of the clone transformed into a young man around 17 years old. Wearing a Hidden Rock flak jacket, forehead protector around the forehead, simple dark blue pants and standard shinobi blue sandals. His hair was brown, spiked up above his forehead protector. His skin was also quite tan, tanner than Zaiaku's.
Zaiaku walked back into the room with his clone, stepping down to the boy.
"This is Sasoku-kun, the Chuunin that will be assisting you in your task today. You will recognize him as Sasoku-sama, nothing else. I hope to receive a good report from him and to see this mission complete."
Zaiaku stepped back over to the table, picking up the parchment and then walking back to his clone. Handing the parchment details over to the clone, Zaiaku moved back over to his desk and sat down on his large chair, leaning back into it.
The clone gestured the teenager to follow after him as he walked out of the door of the Tsuchikage office. He would continue to walk to the village gates, where he would await for the Genin to follow after him.
