PERSONALITY

Even though he has the wisdom and intelligence of an aged individual, due to the knowledge he gained from reading books; however, he still acts somewhat flirty. Some people become well acquainted with his ingenuity; however, even though he has a great amount of intelligence, she doesn’t really believe he’s that smart. Ryo has gained most of his intelligence through the love of reading books, but he doesn't boast about his knowledge. Since he has settled into the traits of a bookworm he has become somewhat antisocial, and thus a bad flirt, and he tries to resolve conflicts using wit rather than violence. Also, he’s rather lazy considering he’d rather read than exercise.

Despite the fact that he acts smart and enlightened, one of her worst traits is the fact that he may loves to flirt with women that are cute when under certain pressures that he believes would allow such a response. Even though he tries to flirt… It can’t really be called flirting because of how bad he is at it. He is so out of touch with society that his idea of flirting is jumping directly to the physical stuff. At this point, he seems to be unable to make competent social decisions, nor does he seem able to communicate well with people. No matter how many people want to judge his mind he always loves to flirt with women he likes. He understands that there is a time and place to be a child and sometimes you have to act older than you really are to get a job done and for the most part he acts mature when he isn’t flirting.

A large portion of his personality is his ability to remain calm in danger. The main reason he can remain calm is because he doesn’t fear pain. No matter how dangerous it is he doesn’t understand what he’s supposed to be afraid of. For the entirety of his life he has always lived with a condition called Congenital Analgia where the nerves in his body don’t fully function, making it impossible to feel pain. Though many people don’t see the downsides to not being hindered by pain, or muscle strain. He has the ability to completely overdo himself causing severe body damage. He won’t be able to tell how much he’s bleeding until he’s soaked his shirt, and even though he can’t feel the pain his body is still affected by the pain (Such as breaking a leg and still trying to run on it).

Ryo is very hard to budge on his beliefs even with a mature personality. He believes that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This philosophy causes him to not try to press his opinions on other people. Even though he has an open mind and a high tolerance of those that believe things that he is opposed to. There is a limit to this tolerance, and even though he can control his anger in many situations he can sometimes jump over the edge and say something rude or mean, though he has never jumped to physical assault to solve these problems as it is against his beliefs the demon inside of him may cause him to act strange sometimes.

Ryo has an odd addiction to sweets and candy; it can almost be considered a weakness. If one were to ask for any information he would easily give it away for candy or baked goods, unless it was about one of his best friends. Even though he has an extreme addiction to candy and sweets, manipulation over his actions and such are nearly impossible to achieve with candy. This could come from his self-pride.

HISTORY

Ryo was born in the Lune Clan. He was born and raised by a traveling merchant. The merchants were Akun and Karen Hanaki from the Amegakure village. Growing up, Ryo loved his mom and dad. The family didn’t mind his early clan trait development: a black eye with no pigmentation. Other people used to stare and point; some kids would even make fun of him, though it didn’t matter. He would go to Karen crying because of them. Karen would tell him that he was special and not to listen to them. Ryo eventually didn’t care what people said about him. He loved traveling between towns. His parents didn’t mind but they had one rule: that if people were around or if they were in town, he needed to mind strangers. This was fine with him because he was quite antisocial anyway and liked the surroundings more than anything.

Every since he was little, Ryo had wanted to attend the Ninja Academy. So around the age of seven he went to live with him grandparent. They were skilled ninjas in their days. Ryo’s grandfather Ores was a Jounin and his grandmother Zola was a medical ninja. They lived in a small but comfortable house just outside of Amegakure surrounded by the mountains, trees and a lake that is about a mile away. When he first got there he didn’t realize how much he needed to learn. In his first month Ryo spent half the day with Zola and the other half with Ores. Zola taught him survival skills like: what wild fruit is edible, herbs that heal and numb, how to set straps to catch small game and different techniques for fishing. While Ores taught her basic skill like: fighting, punches, kicks, throwing projectiles, and stamina. Ryo knew he had to master the basics before moving on to harder things.

After a couple months went by Ryo wanted to use what he had been taught. So he left his grandparents house to live off the land. He chose to live close to the nearby lake. Ryo loved sleeping in trees at night under the stars and swimming in the lake. Plus he was skilled at hunting wild game. He learned to use his heightened senses and was rarely hungry. Ryo loved being on his own but still went to his grandparents’ house everyday for training. This routine went on for about two years. He enjoyed living on his own and training with Ores or lessons with Zola.

Around his ninth birthday he showed up at his grandparents house for training and saw that his parents were there. He hadn’t seen his mom and dad since he started training when he was seven. Ryo spent that whole day catching up with his parents. After dinner, Ryo was called out onto the porch. His parents and grandparents were waiting for his. Akun and Karen expressed how proud they were of him. Karen gave him a tan bundle. Inside the bundle were new clothes and the bundle itself was a hooded tan cloak. Next, Akun gave him a tanto and Ores gave him a two-foot long staff. He loved everything he had got so far and looked at his grandmother. Ryo didn’t know that the next gift would change his life. Zola pulled out a small wooden box with holes in the sides and top of it. Ryo, though he saw and heard movement in the box. He opened the wooden box and found a small baby monkey. Ryo didn’t know what to think of this. He thanked everyone for their gift and then his parents had to go. Ryo also left the house and traveled towards his favorite sleeping spot in an old tree by the lake but he was a little slower than normal. He left the new clothes, tanto, and staff at the house for training but his grandmother insisted he take his new partner, the monkey, with him. Ryo didn’t understand why Zola gave him the monkey but Ryo trusted her. After a couple accidents and with some time, he loved having Ezra around. He was never alone anymore and enjoyed the company.

In the following year Ores taught Ryo how to work together with Ezra. He also taught him how to fight with the staff he gave him and the tanto from his father. Zola didn’t have much left to teach Ryo before he went to the Academy, just blending of herbs for medicine and meditation. Zola knew that meditation was a great way to learn to focus chakra. A day came when Ores and Zola were wanting for Ryo at the front of the house. They told him that is time; he was ready for the Academy. Ryo changed into his clothes that Karen gave him and Ores handed Ryo his staff and tanto. Zola told him to take good care of Ezra. Ryo said goodbye and walked down a path towards the Ninja Academy with Ezra running along side of him.

As an Academy student he and his small monkey still lived on a very small amount of money most of his weapons that were sent to him were poorly crafted and weren’t up to par of the other Academy students equipment. So generally they made fun of him and his old weapons. So to rid himheself of these jokes and teases he began doing odd jobs to make money for him. Upon doing this he met a genin named Aeterno he too came from a strong family whom were having trouble with the current economy even with the sword classes held by his father. After buying new equipment he sparred with Aeterno to become a stronger and better fighter.

After a few months he was almost at par with Aet on terms of fighting skill but he could always pull out his sword and bring a swift victory. This constant event influenced him to begin training with swords and bokkens. However due to the price of the sword equipment he ended up selling his monkey for money to buy everything he needed.

At the tender age of 10 Ryo was no match for his genin friend who was 12 years old even though he had several years of training on him. Not only that he had trained with older men and being a “boy” he could only practice with the rarely available Chuunin or by himself. Each day he pulled himself to the limit his only goal being to catch up with Aeterno. However even while he progressed it seemed he progressed just as fast or faster. The time passed slowly as he yearned to feel the tide of victory over his friend, and training by him wasn’t enough and he knew it. When Aeterno became mildly ill he argued with his father to be put in Aeterno’s advanced sword class until he was feeling better so that no one would be down a spar partner.

Aeterno was at the top of the class however when he took his place he felt like an incompetent buffoon. His skill was nothing compared to the men here. However every day he spent in the class he progressed four times as fast as he ever had. For the four days Aet was sick he found himself at the top of the class before his return. This gave his father reason to keep his in the class and remove one of the least skilled to fill a position in his lower skilled class. Now it was a battle between Ryo and Aeterno, a rivalry. Their skill was near even and it annoyed Aeterno due to the rank difference. He had never had to try so hard to beat someone in one of his class. Not only did he have natural talent he had always been around his father.

After about a week of sparring in the class with his friend they were still even, the fact of the matter was that he was complete speed and he was quite balanced. So after and before class he began to train in strength with pushups and carrying heavier than normal loads. By the time he was 11 he could easily beat his friend and he had grown to hate the fact that he was willing to work to do better than him and he would work ten times harder than him if it meant keeping his title

With another month of remaining undefeated to Aeterno he finally tested for the genin rank and upon achieving it he grew apart from his old friend even more making their friendship disappear completely.

When entering the Academy for what Ryo thought would be the last time he awaited to be placed into a group. The group didn’t have to be particular since mainly he they would be getting the skimpy missions too easy for anyone else’s time. His two-team members were named Mitsu and Kettil. They were both near the bottom of the class due to Ryo being at the top of the class in skill and thought process. He unlike many others felt no guilt in killing and was thought of by the other kids to be unholy along with the past of his being mocked for his lack of money since his family didn’t get much from being merchants.

As a Genin he went through several nonsense missions, like searching for lost jewelry and babysitting the daughter of an older shinobi that was leaving for a real mission. His sensei realized his impatience for the others and even though they lacked the skill to start training the basics like The Art of Water Walking or The Art of Tree Climbing he had begun teaching his on his days off from the missions, and thus since he trained intensely for days his fighting abilities had gone down hill due to the strain on his young body. After about a week he had learned the two basic arts and had begun learning Kai. Without his knowledge his sensei had signed him up for the test but not the other two. Thus he would be alone unless there were other stragglers for the Forest of Death, however another team took his as they had a member not ready for the exam.

With a month until the Chuunin exam his new sensei thought it would be useful for him to learn medic ninja skills due to his excellent taijutsu. He had begun to learn focusing chakra extensively to a part of his body. The increased focus would allow him to use medic jutsu in the near future, but the basic skills that superior chakra control brought him was well worth training for a field he wasn’t planning on entering.

The written part was easier than he heard from others in the past. The rest of the tests were quit easy since one of his teammates had taken a scroll from another team before they even entered the Forest of Death. Thus all they had to do was go straight to the center. Opening the scroll never passed his mind but the others thought differently.

With quick persuasion he told them that this was most likely a test everything they did in this exam was, so it’d be better to follow orders since they as shinobi are supposed to. In the end all of these inconveniences were easy to overcome. His teammates seemed to get by easily as they had easy opponents his first opponent was stupid and was easily beat with pure strength, and his second opponent went by the name of Satoshi Harishin.

They had begun to fight and they exchanged blows with equal ferocity. Neither of them ever gained the upper hand. The match came to a final climatic end, but both of the genin had received serious injuries and they were transported to the hospital to be treated by medic nins. Upon waking up he had found that Satoshi had already woken up. They proceeded to talk while healing up over time. They had become great friends and this was a great way to end his genin career.

During the few months he had off he decided to start learning the art of break dancing, however he didn’t have much time to himself due to the fact that he was holding classes for the Academy students. He didn’t really like it, but he felt there was nothing much else to do during his Chuunin years. He also learned a few medical jutsu for their simple versatility. All he focused on during these years was training to become a Jounin he didn’t have much eventful stuff happen during his chuuinin years. He quickly gained the rank of Jounin.

As a new Jounin Ryo began taking severely hard missions with a team of Jounin. He was the leader of the team due to his use of strategy, immense strength, and the fact he was a versatile ninja. He was an ideal leader he could make quick plans and modulate the original plan if it was required. However he had begun to think of his friend Satoshi, but he just couldn’t leave the villages defense at his own whim that would be dishonorable and even the ruler didn’t think that he had any reason to have a vacation to catch up with Satoshi.

During his free time he trained to further his knowledge of jutsu in the elements he had affinity with along with training medical jutsu. The further he grew in power, the more missions the ruler sent him on. While on a mission it seemed that the Ruler of Amegakure had decided to give up the power, as he was tired and nearing the end of his life. Now he just wanted to do a few things that he had missed out on during his life as a ruler.

Once he gave up power his chosen replacement for himself was Ryo. The reason he chose such a young man was because he was flowing with the power of youth and he had been preparing him for such a job since he hit the rank of Jounin. Now all he needed to do was wait until he returned from his mission. As soon as he returned from the mission the ruler met him at the gate. When he confronted him about the ordeal he was dressed in normal clothes and not the attire that he normally wore while he was a ruler.

When he met him at the gate he formally gave him the rank of ruler. He had already told the Feudal Lords and they had spread this news across the country. Finally the ruler resigned, which initiated the beginning of Ryo’s rein as the ruler of Amegakure.

Combat Usage: It has a small area on the blunt side that takes water out of the air and turns it into chakra. This water that is being pulled from the air is the loose particles that cause humidity, thus it doesn't directly affect the environment. If the user is at full chakra the chakra is used to increase the power of it's strikes and the metal itself which will increase it's cutting power and its durability.The user must have had this sword for years to weild it properly, because the chakra foring itself into the weilders body can cause great pain if the user isn't accustomed to it.

Drawbacks: This can't work in dry areas since it pulls water molecules out of the air.

Description:



His large sword is called Mizukami it is made of a very strong and lightweight Adamantium alloy and has a 4ft long blade and a 1.5ft long handle. The blade is 5 inches wide from blunt edge to the blade and it is .75 inches thick. The metal of this sword, regardless of the picture is quite dark. It has a color that looks a lot like an iron or steel alloy. About three inches from the base of his sword he has a thin compartment for compressed water. This compartment extends for four inches down the blade before the compartment narrows; the compartment ends about two feet from the end of the sword.

Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu [Water Clone Technique]

Description: This is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out attacks on its target. Also, elemental clones can think, but only on the rudimentary level, and the concentration for their jutsu needs to be maintained by the user. When this clone disperses, it reverts into a splash of water.

The distance they reappear to depend on the amount of chakra they choose to use, though they must travel more than 2 miles, and know exactly where they are going. This jutsu is only to be used outside of a battle, or to leave a thread entirely. This jutsu is only to be used outside of a battle, meaning you can't start a battle with it either.

Description: The user places their hands on a surface of water and causes all man-harmful impurities to be removed from it. This makes the water suitable for human usage and probably more easy to manipulate by Suiton.

Suirou no Jutsu - Water Prison Technique

Description: Suirou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to imprison an opponent. The ninja forms the necessary hand seals which causes the water to form around the target into a spherical prison which only allows for limited movement. The ninja must keep their body touching the water prison to maintain its existence. If the contact is broken, the water falls away and their target is released. When combined with a bunshin technique, the ninja can imprison their target but still allow for a clone to attack others nearby.

Suiton: Ame Yose no Jutsu [Water Release: Rain Summoning technique]

Description: This is for use in areas with little or no water. The object of this jutsu is to bring water to you. By performing a number of seals, and focusing ones chakra into the ground, water within a given area, depending on ones chakra strength and water control, will be condensed and begin to form clouds. Once this is complete the clouds then proceed to the selected area, causing a down pour bringing the water to the user. There must be at least some water in the immediate area, and this technique does take a while, so it is hard to bring a sufficient amount in a short time, unless one has the element of surprise.

Description: This jutsu gives the user the ability to create a defensive wall of water through doing a string of hand seals. The wall may be blown out as jet of water from the user's mouth that forms into a barricade or even gush out of the ground. However, it's more usual to use a source of water to make this technique less draining. This wall is thick enough to easily stop projectiles no matter what size they are.

Description: Plainly put, the user spreads an immense amount of chakra to all directions causing plant life to shrivel and die, water to start polluting and for the animal life to flee away. The chakra sent out acts much like a poison to the environment. This has no real affect on the animals and people since they can repel the poisonous chakra.

Saisei no Saibou [Cell Regeneration]

Type: Ninjutsu
Description: A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja focuses nearly all of their chakra into one part of their body just before an attack. The moment that attack connects, the chakra activates the natural regeneration of the body's cellular makeup, repairing the damage done by an attack the moment after it is done. An extremely powerful jutsu, it uses almost all of the ninja's chakra and stamina. Even though this jutsu can save the user from death, they will certainly not able to continue a battle in this condition.

Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with Pain's own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to Pain's senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone not of the village, the existence of the intruder can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until Pain uses the seal to cancel it. Pain makes it rain every Sunday in Amegakure, or whenever he has to leave the village.
