PERSONALITY
Anger
Shiga often loses his temper. Known to be an angry and irritated individual, Shiga lashes out at his enemies with his brutal, scarring hatred. This hatred is a strange development he obtained from observing the hatred of others. While the clan leaders told Shiga that he lived within a time of peace and kindness, he caught glimpses of anger and instability that proved peace was a fragile lie. His disappointment became anger, and his anger became hatred. Soon, he hated people for their deceit, fakeness, and vulnerability. Believing that the whole race of humanity, especially shinobi, had corrupted their history and present with lies of peace and brotherhood, he became motivated to break through the façade the world had placed upon itself.
Honesty
Truth is a complicated concept. It is also a main facet of Shiga’s existence. After examining history, he had concluded that truth was an illusion, created by people to manipulate others and further their own goals. He realized that, deep down within their being, people truly only looked out for themselves. Shiga resolved to be true to himself and not to lie to others: even if that meant showing the world how much he truly hated it and its inhabitants.
Motivation
Shiga sees himself almost as a kind of punisher; one who judges humanity and acts upon that judgment. He believes that he has realized the only real truth of the world, and therefore he has the right to judge reality and others. He hates all motivated by greed and selfish desire for more. He understands those fueled by revenge or redemption, as those views are slightly akin to his own.HISTORY
Shiga was born into the Hayami clan as the eldest son of the clan’s leader, Hayami Yamoto. As a baby, he was very content. His father was placed with his peaceful disposition. However, once Yamoto attempted to show Konoha his newborn heir, Shiga began to wail and cry in their presence. Every since then, Shiga has not taken kindly to strangers, or other people for that matter. When in the company of his mother or father, however, he was surprisingly comfortable and relaxed.
Shiga remained that way for seven years. His father, Yamoto, began to train Shiga after he learned how to walk. Though he was taught slowly and with care, it was revealed that Shiga had a great capacity to learn. His father truly believed that he would become a great and wise heir to his position. On his seventh birthday, Hayami Yamoto informed Shiga of Hayami Ken’s prophecy of peace. The young and optimistic Shiga nodded in response, exclaiming “I’ll work hard to keep that peace!” with a grand smile on his face.
Soon after, his father enrolled him in the academy. Shiga performed very well, and earned extremely high marks in his class. One night, when he returned home with a report card, he heard a disturbance within the clan compounds. He overheard a great quarrel amongst the clan’s chief members, including his father. Apparently, the clan was preparing to move to Konoha’s friendly neighbor, Takigakure, as a gesture of good faith and generosity. With the Hayami clan in Takigakure, Konoha hoped that their neighbor would grow strong. In an era of peace, it did not seem bad to help others rise on their feet and beyond. Shiga, however, merely saw the bickering of his clan, rather than the international perspective. This was the first incident that led him down the path to the realization that his grandfather’s prophecy was a load of bull.
The next day, Yamoto intruded upon Shiga’s class, pulling him out of the room for a moment. There, he informed Shiga of what he had already heard secretly last night. Shiga, who had already expected this, was sad and disappointed, but did not cause the slightest ruckus or argument with his father. Yamoto informed the academy, and Shiga was pulled out, though not without a farewell from his classmates.
Soon, the Hayami Clan arrived in Takigakure. Shiga continued his studies within the minor village, and had difficulty adjusting. He was not alone; the rest of the clan became uneasy and quarreled a lot with his father. It did not seem to be so great, and Takigakure was not his true home. The only time he was truly happy was alone with his father, training. One day, his father pushed Shiga to his limits through harsh training. “If you want to preserve peace, you must fight for it with all of your heart!” As his father shouted those words, Shiga awoke his clan’s Kekkei Genkai, and utilized it to beat his father (though he was not trying his hardest).
When he was twelve, Shiga graduated from Takigakure’s academy and became a Genin. His high marks paired him up with his classmates who had the lowest scores and one of Takigakure’s leading sensei. His father congratulated him, but Shiga still did not overcome the fact that these weren’t his true friends, his true home. One of his comrades was hardworking, yet lacked self-confidence and thus did not follow through. The other was just a lazy bum. These two teammates infuriated Shiga, who began to take on a bossy, impatient attitude around this point. His sensei noticed this, yet decided not to immediately approach Shiga.
Throughout the two years he spent as a Genin, Shiga performed D and C rank missions that bore him to death. He began to see what the world was like in times of peace. He admired the lack of fighting, yet he was surprised by the nature of many people. Civilians who hired his squad for missions were usually very self-centered, and critiqued the children cruelly on their job. Muttering under their breath “and I’m spendin’ good money on you, too,” the civilians whom Shiga worked for soon became another thorn in his side. His anger increased and he was thrown into confusion about the nature of humanity. One day, he decided to brush up on his history in order to enlighten himself about human nature. He was shocked to read about the Great Shinobi Wars and all that had befallen the world. Rather than fuel his desire to preserve peace, it only encouraged his anger and began to chip away at his dream and his clan’s prophecy.
When he was fourteen, his sensei entered him and his team into the Chuunin exams. Most of the time, Shiga’s team depended heavily on him, and thus burden annoyed him. Hoping at the end of the survival portion, they would show exceptional amounts of gratitude, his teammates barely thanked him, and this only fed the fire. When preliminaries for the tournament started, Shiga was forced to fight his lazy comrade, who was shocked when Shiga did not hold back. “You’re no friend of mine,” he stated, “not if you think only of yourself!”. This marked that Shiga still had not adapated to his Takigakure life. His success in the match, however, allowed him to participate in the tournament.
The actual Chuunin Examination Tournament was not as successful. Though Shiga won skillfully in his first round, he was beaten by an Uchiha in his second round. The intense Doujutsu battle did, however, help him increase his skills. Also, the Uchiha was a good sport. With the conclusion of the match, Shiga nodded his head at his opponent in a gesture of good sport, before being taken on a stretcher to the medical room.
His performance was satisfactory enough for a promotion to Chuunin. His father congratulated him proudly, and commented that “you’re well on your way to becoming a preserver of peace!” Strangely to him, Shiga simply smirked, though it did not seem enthusiastic at all. His father did not follow through with is suspicion, but something was obviously up.
For the next three years, Shiga performed well as a Chuunin, though he could have been a better team worker. Nevertheless, his skills were good enough for Takigakure’s ANBU corps, and when he was seventeen he was accepted into the corps. His father told him that this was an excellent way to pay back Takigakure for their kindness. This remark ignited another argument among the clan, who ridiculed Shiga for becoming one with Takigakure. Shiga yelled back and disputed the claim. The sudden outburst of anger left everyone speechless, and he left the room with great anger brewing inside him.
On his eighteenth birthday, the rest of his clan left Takigakure for Konoha. Though depressed and angry, he allowed himself to show minor irritation. However, he began to formulate a plan for leaving the village himself, for freeing himself from his anger and the façade of peace in the world. Two weeks after his birthday, he slaughtered the remaining members of his clan in Takigakure. He fled the village, though not without an emotional removal of his father and his established realization that the only truth is that there is no peace. He then infiltrated Konoha shortly after and finished of his clan, fleeing the premises and barely escaping ANBU pursuit.
Presently, he is currently a member of Asamoya, and hopes that through the powerful organization he can purify the world of humanity’s terrible inner nature and the lie of peace.INVENTORY
Basic Shinobi EquipmentTECHNIQUESKEKKEI GENKAI
Name: Ukiyogan [Life eye]
Rank: Unranked Hijitsu/Kekkei Genkai
Type: Doujutsu
Description:
The Ukiyogan is the Doujutsu Bloodline of the Hayami Clan. It allows the user to identify animate objects through chakra and light spectrums. Anything living (plants, animals, etc.) will be seen with a sharp outline and color that corresponds to the amount of chakra they are using and expending. The colors are based upon the spectrum of light and wavelengths. The greater the amount of chakra being used and gathered, the smaller the wavelengths and the higher the frequency. The lower the amount of chakra use and gathered, the greater the wavelength and the lower the frequency.

In this manner, the Ukiyogan allows for precise monitoring of living beings and quick classification of those beings. All inanimate objects are outlined with white light and are transparent, allowing for the user to see through them in order to trace living things. The distance seen is uninhibited and thus normal.
Also, if caught under an illusion, the user is capable of detecting whether or not the objects conjured are real based on the color. If everything is outlined with white and is transparent (thus an illusion), then it is not real. However, the technique must still be canceled normally for escape to be plausible.

Name: Mugen: Sekai Shoufuku [Infinite Vision: World Submission]
Rank: C
Type: Gen
Description: This Genjutsu attacks the opponent’s perception of their natural surroundings. Once cast, the victim will be immobilized and slowly dragged under the ground. The illusion could use quicksand, a whirlpool (when the surface is water), an eroding mud pit, etc. The genjutsu does not stop when the victim is submerged, deceiving them to believe that they may face death. If the victim notices the illusion in time, they may attempt to cancel it before their hands are submerged. This illusion can only effect one person.
Name: Mugen: Reikoku Shippuu [Infinite Vision: Relentless Gale]
Rank: B
Type: Gen
Description: After forming the needed handseals, an intense wind will blow toward Shiga’s foes. It may seem like an extremely strong Fuuton no Jutsu, but it is an illusion. This wind is so strong that it will keep all foes at bay, and even even force weaker minded foes back great distances. The illusionary wind can tear up the surrounding environment and use the natural debris for barrages. This genjutsu works on multiple foes. Throughout the illusion, the opponent does not ever see Shiga move, as if he must hold his position for the gale to work. Though the pain obtained through flying debris may be imaginary, it is still extremely dangerous, especially for weaker minded opponents. Once the genjutsu is broken, the victim’s perception will be restored and the environment will be unchanged from before the illusionary gale.
Name: Mugen: Garandou [Infinite Vision: Void]
Rank: A
Type: Gen
Description: The genjutsut deceives the opponent by attacking each of the five senses. When the illusion is cast, everything around the victim fades away, leaving nothing but an infinite white world. Nothing can be smelled, tasted, or touched. At Shiga’s discretion, his body may remain in the illusion if he wishes to manipulate his victims perception of himself. The genjutsu only affects an individual.
