The Sykr Clan are a unique group from the mysterious Kusagakure no Sato. Not much information has been given out across the other shinobi nations, keeping most of the information locked in the archives of Kusagakure. They are known, however, to be a clan with the ability to manipulate grass to do their bidding. By combining the elements of Suiton and Doton, the Sykr Clan are able to perform various techniques based on grass.

Background:
Kusagakure no Sato was not a village known for its greatness in ninja talent and power. The inhabitants of the village were quite humble, or so they say, and didn't seem to have the need of being powerful. They lacked true ambition. Without it, they were unable to proceed to where the other great villages were. Perhaps this was a reason why it was classed as one of the 'lesser villages.'
Two members of the Jounin cohort seemed to think differently. Husband and wife, Sykr Michima and Sykr Kitsune. These two ninja were known throughout the village, and across the land, for having high talent in the Suiton and Doton elements. It was said that word of their skill was also passed on to other villages, or so that was a rumor going around at the point. These two Jounin believed it was time for a change of Kusagakure. Kusagakure no Sato needed something, or someone, to put them down into the B.I.N.G.O books for having powerful and fearless ninja. These ninja needed a talent, as the other villages seemed to have high amounts of clans which specialized in certain powers.
So Michima and Kitsune sat down and began to think. How would they be able to adapt their own special power and create a clan of their own, to show off to the other nations what Kusagakure was like and what secrets it held. They spent most of their time out in the fields, experimenting by combining their Doton and Suiton techniques. For months and months of hard work, nothing seemed to pay off. They experimented daily, but were unable to gather any results. At first the other villagers thought that these two were saviors, attempting to put Kusagakure no Sato back onto the map. But as time passed and nothing came out of their experimentation's, the other villagers grew weary whether to have faith in the two. When this occurred, Michima and Kitsune both asked themselves whether they were actually strong enough to develop their own techniques. They decided to put this dream on hold and to continue with their average ninja life.
Nothing seemed to shine out of the two. They continued with their normal lives and completed their daily rituals as ninjas. Gossip still went around about Michima and Kitsune meeting up regularly and going at the experimentation again. They had nothing to say for themselves as they had reach none of their goals which they had started at the beginning. Soon this would change.
One day while Michima was out in the land surrounding the village tracking a Missing Ninja that had made it into the area, something strange had happened to him. He had done everything the correct way. Scout the person out, stay with the group, don't make any sudden movements, don't give away your position, wait for the chance and finally strike. Michima was in the middle of sneaking up behind the Missing Ninja as one of his team members were attacking him from the front. He was in the middle of performing a Doton technique, already finishing the hand symbols, when the foreign ninja dissipated from his sight. At first, Michima began the process to end the technique, when he felt the chakra presence come to the side. Michima spun to his right and quickly performed a simple Suiton technique, though something strange happened instead of the desired ground attack. The grass at his feet seemed to rise up and mimic what the Suiton technique was going to do. The Suiton technique was Mizurappa (Violent Water Wave). Instead of the water jet flying out from his mouth, grass seemed to form together and rush out of the mouth of Michima and down in the direction of the Missing Ninja. At first, this was a shock to most members that had seen what had happened. None of them had seen this skill before, wondering whether Michima had been actually spending time working on his new techniques and abilities. Michima was also quite shocked. This went on for a few seconds, as realization came back into their minds of the Missing Ninja. They finished their job in capturing the man and proceeded back to the village.
Word spread around about what had happened while out in the field. Michima told his wife what had happened and explained the scene quite carefully to her. That night, they moved out into the field and Michima showed Kitsune what he had discovered. From then, the husband and wife proceeded back to the facility where they attempted to discover. Both of them realized that this in fact was a combination of both Sution and Doton elements, much like the Mokuton release. The two started experiments where they would combine different hand signs of Doton and different hand signs of Suiton. They spent at least 2 years in this facility, coming out do their daily ninja duties and then returning. They told no one of their discoveries, wanting to keep it to themselves for the moment.
After those quick two years were complete, the new techniques were ready to be in use of the members of Kusagakure. At first Michima and Kitsune were eager to teach others around them, but they soon realized that this technique was discovered by their family, so why should others be able to perform them? They became greedy, and did not want to share any information with other villagers. This made some of their friends into their enemies, though not those kind of enemies that if you see them, you kill them. However, they were still quite respected throughout the village. Kusagakure now had a secret talent, the Sykr Clan of Grass Warriors.
