Background:
A relatively young family, the Hayami Clan initially planted its roots in Konohagakure no Sato. It started with only twenty members, and continued to remain with such minute numbers. Founded during the times of peace, the Hayami clan was blessed with a history of normality and tranquility. The founder, Hayami Ken, prophesized that their clan would forever remain peaceful and stable. His son, Yamoto tried to pass this belief down to his eldest son, Shiga. The two leaders of the Hayami clan could not have been further from the truth.

After seventy years of living with Konoha’s walls, the Hayami clan decided to migrate to Takigakure no Sato. This was seen as a kind gesture to help strengthen the minor shinobi nation. While Hayami Yamoto was pleased to shift his citizenship, the rest of the clan felt uneasy. Their roots had coiled around those of Konoha. It would not be easy to adapt to life in Takigakure when it was not the clan’s founding place.

The next ten years were strange and unpredictable. Through homesickness and disagreement, members of the Hayami clan began to debate whether or not to return to their home village. Gradually, members would leave, and only Hayami Yamoto and his immediate family were left. Yamoto did not understand why his brethren could not live in Takigakure, when peace would follow them anyway. He shrugged off his relatives, believing that they would come back. After all, he was their leader. Was.

On the tenth year of the “clans” life in Takigakure, a horrifying incident occurred. Hayami Yamoto, his youngest son, and wife were murdered, in cold blood, by their very own son, Hayami Shiga, who soon afterwards fled the village as a Nukenin. The prophecy of Hayami Ken had broken with the actions of the young criminal. Soon after, he managed to infiltrate his past home, Konohagakure, and assassinated the remnants of the Hayami clan within the boundaries. He hastily made an escape, barely escaping ANBU patrols that followed and investigated the scene. Thus, the young Hayami clan met its premature death by its own, dominant hand.
