SYNOPSIS Suijouki Banpo is an outgoing Genin from Konohagakure, in the possession of a Kekkai Genkai that somehow allows him to store water in his body. He is often seen challenging random shinobi in order to become stronger, which he attempts to do so by his own "ladder method".
Banpo is a boy of average length and average weight for his age, perhaps being only a tad smaller than most kids of his age. Nonetheless, the youngster is quite athletic due his Taijutsu training and more muscular than most others. Due to the special, deep blue wetsuit he wears at all times however, this trained figure remains hidden from sight.
Indeed, Banpo walks around in a blue wetsuit that covers all of his body but his head. It also has an brown, elastic belt at the hight of Banpos waist onto which a brown pouch containing shinobi tools is strapped. The back of the wetsuit shows a teal symbol which resembles 4 waves, each one gushing towards a different corner. This indicates that Banpo is from the Suijouki Clan.
Banpos face is nothing special. He has short, blonde hair which is very sleek and usually hangs directly down his head. He has a pair of light blue eyes and a rather small nose and mouth. Banpos is not an incredibly handsome person to see, but just an average Genin.

PERSONALITY Banpo is a funny little fellow. Not to bright, yet in a certain way a very clever young man. Clever as in creative, as Banpo seems to be capable of seeing and using tiny things others tend to overlook in his advantage. Kind, happy, and usually polite, Banpo tends to get along well with pretty much every person he meets. Though he's not a coward, he avoids all conflicts if possible and only becomes angry if he really, really has to. To Banpo, a problem is as big as you make it, thus he likes to take things lightly, not make a big deal out of them. This attitude gave him the reputation of a laid back and nice youngster.
Most of Banpos life so far has been decided by his one goal: Climbing up the ladder of strength. With his big brother as final opponent, Banpo picks random people he knows and deems stronger than himself, just to train hard enough to beat that person. Once he manages to do so, he picks and even stronger person to repeat this. Often seen challenging random people around the village, Banpo became a common sight for the villagers of Konohagakure. Due his constant good mood and kind attitude however, this is never an unpleasant one.
HISTORY The biggest and most important part of Banpos history takes place pretty soon after his birth. Banpo was still a little boy of a mere 2 years old, being raised with love and care my mom and dad, who occasionally went on missions since they both were active Jounin. Whenever they could however, Banpos parents would plan their missions in such a way either one of them was always home to take care of the boys, being Banpo and his elder brother Kuma. Those were happy times Banpo, unfortunately, does not remember a single moment from.
Disaster struck at the most unwanted and unexpected moment, during the very creation of a fresh, young family. Banpos parents were very willing to have more children, but his mother was slain during one of her missions, leaving the husband and 2 children behind. Afraid to die as well and leave his 2 boys behind as orphans, Banpos father retired ceased all shinobi activities and started a grocery store instead, only functioning as a shinobi inside Konoha on rare occasions. It was just them, 3 men in one, big house, robbed from a mother.
As Banpo grew up and attended to the academy, it became clear that he was quite tuned up with his Kekkai Genkai. Despite this strength, he showed to be only an average student at school, being easily overshadowed by his talented, elder brother Kuma, who was already a Genin. Hellbent on utilizing his genetic gift however, Banpo swore to surpass him one day, and that he would train intensively to do so. This would be the start of the Banpo we know today.
Banpo graduated at the age of 12, the point where we are now. He is a fresh Genin without a Jounin sensei, eager to learn everything he has to to become stronger and better. His race against Kuma, who figured he was stronger anyway and never really did anything special to stay ahead of Banpo, has been going on for several years and Banpo has already taught himself the basics of his clans abilities with the help of his father. Banpo may not be the brightest of people, but he sure is motivated and has a lot of potential.
INVENTORY ~Regular Shinobi Equipment
Name: Suijouki Wetsuit Type: Clothing Combat Usage: Supplementary Description: The Suijouki Wetsuit is a wetsuit worn by members of the Suijouki Clan. Though often customized, the most common variant of this suit involves a deep blue collor with a teal clan symbol on the back. The Suijouki Wetsuit is made from incredibly elastic material, easily capable of dealing with the growing and shrinking of the clanmembers body during a fight. Also, does not appear to interfere with water in any kind of way, not hampering the clanmember in his usage of clan techniques in any way.
Other than that, the wetsuit does not provide any exeptional protection. Clanmembers claim the stretchy suit is extremely comfortable during Taijutsu, but is easily penetrated by most attacks and does not absorb the impact from blunt attacks. When soaked however, it does weaken fire attacks that directly hit the user.
TECHNIQUES Basic Techniques
Name: Bushin no Jutsu ~ Clone Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.
Name: Henge no Jutsu ~ Transformation Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Description: Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu ~ Change of Body Stance Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.
Name: Shunshin no Jutsu ~ Body Flicker Technique Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.
Kekkai Genkai
Name: Shintou Ayatsuri ~ Osmosis Manipulation Rank: - Type: Ninjutsu Description: Shintou Ayatsuri is the Kekkai Genkai of the Suijouki Clan. With their chakra, they can artificially increase the concentration of fluid in their cells. This triggers a natural process called "Osmosis", which causes their cells to absorb water from their surroundings, being anything from a puddle of water to the air itself, to compensate this difference in concentration and increase their size and weight. How long the user takes to fully load himself depends on the surroundings. In dry regions it could take various minutes, while it can be done nearly instantly while in contact with a source of water. The maximum amount of water absorbed depends on the skills of the user. Ofcourse, there is a maximum amount of water that can be absorbed before the cells burst. This is usually obtained at Jounin level.
By the same means, the user can lower the concentration in their cells in a blink of the eye, causing the cells to release water in the form of lose particles (steam) to once again even the concentration between them and their surroundings. This forms the basis of most Suijouki Clan techniques.
Bloodline Taijutsu
Name: Karyokuken~ Steam Power Fist Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Description: Karyokuken is a Suijouki Taijutsu technique utilizing their Kekkai Genkai. While punching, the user releases an amount of steam from their elbow. This causes his fist to rocket forward at even greater speed, increasing the blow upon impact.
Name: Karyokukyaku ~ Steam Power Kick Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Description: Karyokukyaku is a Suijouki Taijutsu technique utilizing their Kekkai Genkai. While kicking, the user releases an amount of steam from the back of his heel. This causes his leg to rocket forward at even greater speed, increasing the blow upon impact.
Name: Karyoku Janpu ~ Steam Power Jump Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Description: Karyoku Janpu is a Suijouki Taijutsu technique utilizing their Kekkai Genkai. At any time, the user releases a firm amount of steam from his heels. This either allows himself to jump higher than usual or to send himself rocketing towards the target.
Name: Karyoku Kousaku ~ Steam Power Maneuver Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Description: Karyoku Kousaku is a Suijouki Taijutsu technique utilizing their Kekkai Genkai. While in midair, the user unleashes a firm amount of steam from one side of his body. This pushes him sidewards, allowing him to dodge attacks while airborn.
Bloodline Ninjutsu
Name: Suchi Muhanma ~ Steam Hammer Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Description: Suchi Mahanma is a Ninjutsu technique involving the Suijouki Clans Kekkai Genkai. While close to his opponent, the clanmember thrusts his hand towards the opponent. Though it appears as if he's going to hit his target, he stops at about a feet distance and releases a powerful burst of steam from his handpalm. This burst is capable of knocking over opponents and badly hurting them.
Name: Jouki Tenpou ~ Steam Cannon Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Description: Jouki Tenpou is a Ninjutsu technique involving the Suijouki Clans Kekkai Genkai. Due to involving simple water and no water natured chakra, it has no elemental strengths or weaknesses. The user aims his handpalms towards the target and calls forth a powerful beam of steam. This beam is capable of fending off incoming projectiles and knocking over opponents, badly hurting them.
Name: Karyoku Heki ~ Steam Power Barrier Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Description: Karyoku Heki is a Suijouki Ninjutsu technique utilizing their Kekkai Genkai. When attacked, the user releases steam from the targeted part of his body. This fends off projectiles and most Taijutsu attacks, unless great strength is put into them.
Suiton Ninjutsu
Name: Suiton: Mizu no Muchi ~ Water Release: Whip of Water Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Description: Mizu no Muchi is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a whip. The ninja can also send an electric current through the whip to electrocute their opponent. The whip will function in the normal fashion, such as allowing the ninja to whip the crap out of little kids.
Name: Suiton: Mizu Bushin no Jutsu ~ Water Release: Water Clone Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Description: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state.
