Haruka is the heir to the Hyuuga clan, although some see him as unfit, and even a mockery to the clan. His odd mannerisms and addiction to sweets usually lands him as somewhat unwanted. Regardless, their accusations that he isn't good enough push him to try harder.

PERSONALITY

Haruka has been seen by some as an embarrassment to the clan, and is often thought of as unfit to be heir. The reason for this is because he seems to enjoy slacking off, for weird reasons. Haruka seems to have an addiction to sweets, and says that he'll get withdrawal symptoms is he doesn't have them. This has never been proven, as people usually give him sweets, and he always has some on him. He seems to be a contradicting person, an outcast, but at the same time, one of the most outgoing people in his Clan. He's brilliant, but because of his age he cannot be recognized for being capable of doing anything. He's quiet when you first meet him, but once you get to talking to him he starts to come out of his shell. Haruka is considered to be a very one-emotion-at-a-time person. He's either sad, mad, happy, or caring. It seems that he's never a mixture of any two emotions. People have joked that this is because only one emotion fits in his tiny body at a time. But altogether, he is seen as a very cute, logical person, as he always helps everyone with their own problems.

He's rarely ever by himself, even in his room. He loves to play therapist, and he considers it to be that since he's not actually a therapist. Bottom line, he loves helping people. He's also an animal lover, and he can't stand it when people talk about hurting animals. However, contrary to popular belief, he LOVES getting into fights, always thinking of them as a challenge. He loves fighting more with words, since he always comes back with something well thought out very very quick. Because of this, he considers himself to be the "Comeback King." He's basically the person you go to if you want help, candy, or to learn something new.

HISTORY

Haruka was born on October 13, blind in his right eye. He was given his name by his beloved mother. The reason for this was never known, as he wasn't even born in the springtime. Haruka feels she wanted to give him a feminine name because she wanted her son to be as cute as a girl. So as he grew up, he tried his hardest to be cute, and soon found that he hardly had to try. His odd mannerisms came to him naturally, and his craving for sweets started with a bang, but slowed down as he got older.

Once in the Academy, his thirst for knowledge grew more than the classroom would satisfy. Haruka quickly made it his business to learn as much as he could, as fast as he could. He almost taught himself everything there was to know! Obviously, Haruka graduated the Academy at age nine, with flying colors. His mother died a few years later, when he was only 11 years old. Devastated by the loss of his mother, Haruka ran away in the middle of the night to go grieve in the middle of the forest. People searched for days and days, until they found him huddled in a small cave. They took him home, and he suffered from severe depression. He became nearly emotionless. After a few years, his personality started to reshape itself. He became the Haruka you see today, and he couldn't be happier. Even so, the claims that he could never be heir to the Hyuuga Clan made him strive to be better. As a Genin, he completed missions with his team in a few hours, depending on the mission. He did missions as quickly as possible, and he did them well. His Sensei quickly referred them to the Chûnin Exams when he was 13, and he passed with flying colors. A year later, after doing famously on all the Chûnin missions as well, he became a Jônin. Even so, the accusations that he would never be good enough grew. His skill became Advanced, and slowly, but surely... the accusations died down.

TECHNIQUES

Name: Byakugan - White Eye

Description: Each clan member possess the "Byakugan" or "White Eye." When the "Byakugan" is activated, the clan member gains an extra-sensory perception, which gives them penetrating sight and telescopic vision. This allows them to see the internal chakra circulation system in other beings. This vision also grants the member a near 360° view of their surroundings. The higher the skill of the clan member, the further the distance from which they can sense incoming attacks. Unfortunately the vision does have a weakness, a small blindspot that extends outwards from their upper back.


Name: Juuken Ryuu - Gentle Fist Style

Description: Juuken is fighting style utilized by Hyuuga clan members, it is the strongest style of Konoha. The Byakugan has a penetrating ability to see the tenketsu, the internal chakra coils system 361 pressure points. The clan member can use their fingers or palms to emit chakra to flow into their opponents body's at these precise points. When the hand draws close enough to strke, the clan member can stop or increase their opponents chakra flow. The internal chakra coils which spread throughout the body also wrap around the internal chakra producing organs. So if the internal coils are attacked, it also damages these internal organs. Because a ninja can not train their internal body, such damage can be a critical hit for even a highly skilled ninja.


Name: Shugo Hakke Rokujuuyonshou - Guardian Eight Divination Signs, Sixty-Four Palms of the Hand

Description: Shugo Hakke Rokujuuyonshou is a Taijutsu technique developed by Hyuuga Hinata. During the period after the Chuunin Exam, Hinata pushed herself harder than ever before. During this time she improved her chakra control and developed her own style within the Hyuuga bloodline abilities. She practiced the technique around water to hone it to perfection. Utilizing the Hakke Rokujuuyonshou style, Hinata uses her natural flexibility and her precise chakra control to create an absolute defense. Hinata will emit chakra from her palms and move her arms in sweeping pattern movements to provide a full 360 degree range of protection for her body. This chakra will be also be able to cut through most any target which dares penetrate the protective sphere. By expelling a more sharper, stronger and more flexible amount of chakra, she can increase it's effectiveness against more massive incoming objects.


Name: Hakke Hasangeki - Eight Divination Signs Destructive Mountain Fist

Description: Hakke Hasangeki is a Taijutsu technique utilized by Hyuuga Neji. Extending chakra from his body, Neji will thrust his palm into his target. This will send out a wave of chakra that will knock his opponent backwards into nearby rock to cause further damage. It is unknown if this wave can also collapse his target's tenketsu points.


Name: Hakke Hyakunijuuhachishou - Eight Divination Signs, One-Hundred and Twenty-Eight Palms of the Hand

Description: Hakke Hyakunijuuhachishou is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuuga bloodline. Hakke Hyakunijuuhachishou is a variation of Hakke Rokujuuyonshou, a technique passed down through the main family line. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. The technique allows the clan member to use the Byakugan eye to make nearly double the normal 126 strikes, striking 254 times against their individual foe or opponents. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 and finally 128 times.

Description: Hakke Kuushou is a ranged Taijutsu technique utilized by Hyuuga Neji. Extending chakra from his body, Neji will thrust his palm at his target. This will send out an invisible wave of chakra that can knock his opponent back. It is unknown if this wave can also collapse his target's tenketsu points.


Name: Hakke Rokujuuyonshou - Eight Divination Signs, Sixty-Four Palms of the Hand

Description: Hakke Rokujuuyonshou is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuuga bloodline. Hakke Rokujuuyonshou is a special technique passed down through the main family line. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. The technique allows the clan member to use the Byakugan eye to see the inner chakra coils system. Using the Jyuuken style, they can force their chakra through their hands into the tenketsu of the opponent's body through 126 strikes. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32 and finally 64. This damage forceably closes 64 tenketsu, stopping the chakra flow of the opponent. This then limits their opponents ability to use jutsu.


Name: Hakkeshou Kaiten - Eight Divination Palms of the Hand, Heavenly Spin

Description: Hakkeshou Kaiten is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuuga bloodline using the Jyuuken. Kaiten is a special technique passed down through the main family line. Kaiten takes advantage of several of the unique abilities of the Byakugan eye. Byakugan gives the clan member an almost complete 360 degree view of their surroundings. This allows the member to see all angles of attack. If an attack is near, the clan member will release a large of amount of chakra from their tenketsu. The member then begins to spin like a top, creating a whirling vortex that can nullify almost any attack.


Name: Juuho Soushiken - Gentle Step Twin Lion Fist

Description: Juuho Soushiken is a Taijutsu technique utilized by Hyuuga Hinata. After gathering chakra to her fists, Hinata will skillfully spin towards her target to avoid attack and strike them. Spectral lion heads will then form around her fists.

Description: ShiShi Rendan is a Taijutsu technique developed by Uchiha Sasuke after he used his Sharingan to copy the movements of fellow Leaf ninja Rock Lee. Sasuke first uses the Konoha Kage Buyou to manuever his opponent in a vulnerable aerial position. While shadowing his opponent, Sasuke will attempt to strike them from a vulnerable angle. If he is unable to make a clean strike, he will strike anyway as a feint, to draw his target's attention and defense to one area. He can then strike the undefended area and begin knocking them downwards towards the ground. As the enemy falls back to the earth, Sasuke will deftly rotate his body around to deliver a full force kick to their chest.


Name: Hayabusa Otoshi - Peregrine Falcon Drop

Description: Hayabusa Otoshi is a Taijutsu technique used by Uchiha Sasuke. While at an elevated position, Sasuke will grab his opponent from behind. Firmly locking himself to their back, he will lock his ankles to their neck to get their body rigid. He will then plant them head first into the ground. Essentially a belly to back piledriver, the move can provide a great concussion to his opponent's head.

Description: Katon • Gouryuuka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja will expel dragon head fireballs at their opponent. These powerful fireballs can punch through concrete.

Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.


Name: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu - Shadow Clone Technique

Description: Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. When Naruto stole the scroll of seals, he learned this technique as well. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin.

Description: Bunshin Kaiten Kakatou Otoshi is a taijutsu technique used by Uzumaki Naruto. Naruto first uses Kage Bunshin to create several clones. These clones and Naruto launch themselves into the air and begin to somersault. They then come spinning down, laying their heels into the target's shoulders and head.


Name: Bunshin Taiatari - Clone Ramming Suicide Attack

Description: Bunshin Taiatari is a taijutsu technique used by Uzumaki Naruto against Gaara in his mini-Shukaku form. Naruto first used Kage Bunshin to create several clones. These clones launched themselves at Gaara. When Gaara's large sand arm went to grab the clones, another clone then landed on this hand and launched the following real Naruto at Gaara. This fast speed allowed Naruto to get in closer to Gaara. While flying towards Gaara, the Sand ninja used his other arm to grab at Naruto. The real Naruto formed another Bunshin to take the hit, while he maneuvered away into position behind Gaara.


Name: Konoha Kage Buyou - Leaf Shadow Dance

Description: Konoha Kage Buyou is a Taijutsu technique that is used to position a ninja's opponent into a vulnerable aerial position. The ninja will first quickly appear below their opponent, then with a switch upper kick they will launch their target into the air. The ninja will then jump into the air to "shadow" the target with the target's back to their chest. Rock Lee uses the Konoha Kage Bayou to place his opponent into a position to do his Omote Renge technique. Uchiha Sasuke would go on to copy this move to set up his opponent for his Shishi Rendan technique.


Name: Kage Shuriken no Jutsu - Shadow Shuriken Technique

Description: Kage Shuriken no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing a giant Fuuma Shuriken. When throwing the shuriken, the ninja will also throw a second giant shuriken to hide in the shadow of the first. The hidden secondary shuriken can then approach the target without their being aware.


Name: Soushuriken no Jutsu - Manipulate Shuriken Technique

Description: Soushuriken no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used Uchiha Sasuke. After hurling his giant shuriken, Sasuke can control their path and movements by using wires which run from the shuriken itself back to his arm. Because his opponent will think they are normal shuriken, they will be off guard about their ability to redirect themselves.
