PERSONALITY

Shimada is very serious at all times. He does not speak as someone his age would. This is expected, because his family was always very serious, and since he judged them for this, he became like it himself. He anytihng but cold and distant, he loves to play with young ones and he is very polite.

When faced with authority, Shimada is easy to work with, as long as those in charge understand the meaning of professionalism. If he sees something that doesn’t quite fit his eye, he will comment on it without remorse, the ultimate cause they all worked for being his excuse for his harsh commentary. But such moments are very rare, and if faced with one that can potentially alter his friendship with someone close, Shimada would rather shut up. After all, weak or strong, it was the bond shared with others that drove him to be who he was. He was not just strong for himself; he’d be the fist of the people.

He is never one to be patient or stay still, a craving for first-hand action motivating him to constantly search for battle. But he is not without honor; he is a staunch critic of his family’s over arrogant ways, and always takes a stance to fight injustice. He attempts to share allegiance with no man, but can reason and understand any point. And he stays true to his claim, earning him a negative mark amongst his brethren. However, his defiance does not go unnoticed; even the proudest know when to recognize a star, and in Shimada, they saw one.

HISTORY

Unlike his many brothers and sisters, none which he really got along with, Shimada tried to keep as low a profile as possible, never really attaining solid fame as a Uchiha member. This would lead many of his brethren to loose respect for him, often labeling a ‘traitor’. But the elders knew of Shimada's purposeful sabotage, seeing through the teenager’s plan as if the youth had wrote it all down and shown it to them. With this knowledge they would keep his training going, hoping their diamond in the rough would one day shine.

He’d be enrolled at the academy at the standard age, expected to breeze through his tasks in no time. However, knowing failure would mean he’d be left alone, Shimada would purposely mess up his tests and such. Many of his instructors wondered how he failed so frequently, and after a while, most of his immediate family would believe. After that, not much would be said to Shimada – the new black sheep of the family. He was allowed to do as he wished, at whatever pace he wished. And so he would remain on his shinobi path, retaining everything he learned even when he messed up on purpose.

Training in secret would be his main method of advancing his skills, though at times, a contact from the family would check up on his Sharingan. He would be trained as the others, though he would be hidden from the public eye, left as the ultimate back up plan should their other ‘stars’ fail. At this point, his Sharingan would start to grow in power, the youth becoming apt at it while using it long-range. It took some heavy training, but he was able to keep his doujutsu up to par with those within the clan of his same age.

Soon he would keep his shinobi career going, alienated from his family but finally enjoying what he was doing. When the chuunin exams were underway, he’d answer the call, participating and making his village proud.

As a Teen…

As years stuck in the same academy classroom passed, Shimada would experience an epiphany that would soon make him realize his destiny lie within his talent; that is, his fist would be his guide. Finally, after a successful graduation came along, he would continue his training, entering the chuunin exams as an underdog. When the exams came up, he’d place as a finalist – partly achieved because of his attempts, once again, to sabotage and shadow his own skill – though he still displayed the right traits required for the rank. After being bestowed the honor of the rank, he would resume his training, even frequenting the dojos that taught Senbon Taitoku, showing great skill in the art of small projectiles. With this and his Sharingan advanced to deadly stages, he was starting to become a shinobi to be reckoned with.

At this point in his life, he becomes a bit colder and more distant. A few key family members he revered have passed away, and those that remain show no support for Shimada’s career. They are still blinded by their hate, enough so that they cannot see the power the youth harbors in his very soul. This would blind him to temporarily move out. Using this as a burning motivation, he would train endlessly, advancing his blood limit powers dramatically. By now, his Sharingan had reached the third tomoe, and his knowledge of tenketsu had expanded greatly. Although he was now a revered fighter, much of his shinobi life is uneventful. Periods of depression and other ailments ravage his body, and after a few scares, some think of Shimada as suicidal. However, a few good voices would whisper reason in the boy’s ear, keeping him sane. After some long mourning, he returns to live with his family, ready to resume his training.

Soon after this Shimada is chosen to be to Hokage, for reasons still unknown to this day.
