PERSONALITY

Naku is an intense highly motivated young man. He is also quite happy and fun loving. He general has a smile on his face or a look of intense concentration because he is constantly training in some sort of way. He is a weapon specialist and trains intensively with every kind of weapon but he has an affinity for anything with a blade or something heavy that could do a lot of damage.

He also has knack and fascination with card tricks and slight of hand and thus has a very high level of dexterity when it comes to his hands. He likes to play with cards and has developed them into techniques and incorporated their use into his fighting style.

Outside of missions and his martial duties, he loves to train and to relax. Granted his form of relaxing always seems to take the form of polishing and sharpening weapons and preparing his stock of weapons/ Otherwise he is looking for someone to play some kind of game with, Shogi, a card game, chess, checkers, and the occasional sport.

He also likes to sew and cook making him appear a little feminine in some peoples eyes but he doesn't seem to mind all that much and very few people's opinions seem to matter to him.

HISTORY

Nakushita was born to a retired samurai and his shinobi wife twelve years ago. from birth he always seemed to have a way of gravitating towards the sharp things in the house that made his mother a nervous wreck half the time. Somehow that baby boy could evade her watchful eye and he tested her shinobi reflexes what seemed like every five minutes. So as he got older his mother decided that fine if the boy liked to play with knives and needles and the like then she would teach him to use them. So she did. From the age of three she has trained him in using ninja tools and she even managed to coerce his father into picking up a sword again to teach the boy the exquisite art of the samurai.

His naturally born skills astounded his parents who were very surprised at how quickly he progressed in the skills of weaponry battle. His natural grace and keen eyes sometimes surpassed their own.

At the age of five, Naku took up card tricks and legerdemain. This however was the skill that challenged him for a while but he wouldn't give it up even though he couldn't do everything right off the bat like he could with weapons. He would practice with the cards what seemed like nonstop. Even when he was enrolled in the ninja academy at the age of 6, he wouldn't put the cards down. Everyday the teacher would yell at Naku to "put the damn cards away" which generally resulted in a quick game of 52 card pick up as the startled boy sent his cards into the air in every direction.

He excelled in every ninja art except for genjutsu. He was also one of the top in the class at chakra control. Ninja tools and taijutsu were obviously his greatest subjects but that goes without saying.

He failed to pass the graduation exam his first time through because of his deficient use of genjutsu, but over the past year, he has trained himself into being better at the subject and has just barely passed the genjutsu portion of the exam. Being a graduate and his promotion to Genin hasn't really phased the boy but inside his head he is ecstatic and eagerly awaits his team assignment.
