SYNOPSIS

Can one truly understand pain? Can one truly find salvation when the only light that graces there body is that of the sun? Born into a small, but elite warrior clan on the outskirts of Takigakure, a child who has neither memory of his past or even memory of his own identity was born with both a divine souvenir and a hellish blight. Sōki, the heir to his mysterious clan, and an expert swordsman is not only host to himself, but a deeper power that far outreaches the bound of normal man. Using his natural faculty for Sword-Play in conjuration with his outlandish power, Sōki seeks to rid the very world of what plagues his body.

PERSONALITY

Sōki, a multifarious puzzle best fits the small phrase description which embodies the young Warriors personality. Documented for displaying a pleasant melodious exterior; Sōki is quite conflicted on the inside. Not having memory of his past or even his biological identity, Sōki generally believes that reality has exiled him from existence. However from a young age, the name Sōki has become more then a alias, it’s his only sense of subsistence.

Sōki is what someone would consider to be a “liberated soul” or “free spirit”; always going by what he believes is right or wrong. Sōki believes in contentment above all others as he feels that if he isn’t satisfied with something he’d refuse to do anything else until he reaches his own individual echelon of satisfaction. Sōki would rather kick back and look at the sky then take part in other professional manners such as work and duties but if imperative in his mind he would act upon it almost immediately.

Humorous, comical, outright pleasant these words can best describes Sōki’s comic personality, Sōki really doesn’t take much to thought as serious as others of his stature would; Sōki rarely worries about anything and would considered unprofessional to those or equal or higher-rank but these “comments” or “alignments” don’t bother Sōki one bit, some could say the comments “goes in one ear and exits the other”. There are times were Sōki can be serious but most of the time Sōki tends to enjoys life and not to worry about matters that could ruin his emotional state of mind.

HISTORY

Takigakure no Sato, the residence of what could be considered a paradise which hosts the world’s most desired, and destructive natural blessing, water. Though harvesting one natural gift, it would also envisage a generic poltergeist that would both plagues, and blesses the land. Centered around the base of the great tree which was the focal point of the hidden village, a small but elite warrior clan who specialized in both the ninja arts, and unparalleled sword-play were in patient waiting as the clan Leader Akki and his venerated wife would soon give birth to the heir and future leader of there small but existing Clan.

As the 1st successor and imperial member of his linage, the young boy at birth would endure the distinguished and traditional ritual that only occurred every five generations. Before the actual confinement would take place, the mother was prearranged to also prep her body as the pain that would sure to come could possibly kill her, and the only heir. After weeks of preparation Akki’s wife was finally in her 40th week and it was now time. Her contractions close and the child were ready to be born into the world. Rushed to the neighboring medical facility, Akki and his wife were sent into a room prepped for pregnancy as she was immediately tended to by a group of medical experts.

After five hours of pain-exacting labor, Akki’s child was finally born and to only add on to such a success, the mother hadn’t died in nativity. Exactly five weeks following the young prince’s birth, the ritual would commence as the villagers of Takigakure and the Clan members all were and specters of the day’s festivities. While the previously immense multitude of people continued to grow in dimension, the child was taken from his home and chaperoned to the great tree in the center of the village, the place were the festival and ceremony would be detained.
And then it happened....


The festival had finally begun and thus everyone’s attention was directed at the base of the great tree, there laid the prince, circled by three village priests, two Shinobi, and his father and mother. Given twelve minutes to praise the prince, the crowd was momentarily silenced at Akki’s command and soon the Shinobi along with the priest placed a powerful Fūin seal on the child’s right shoulder blade. Following the placement of the Fūin, Akki soon preformed a long string of kata followed by the enchanting chant of what seemed to be ancient tongue. After the chant and the string was finished, Akki aggressively pushed his arms forward as the seal on the child’s shoulder began to glow vividly and as his shoulder’s light began to intensify, the crowd gave off horrid cries of help as a powerful wind accumulated within the area and soon the child was lifted into the air.

As the villagers fled the area in attempts to shelter their own life, the clansman attempted to salvage the lives of both Akki and his wife from the wrath which was the unparalleled power of what they had so superciliously unleashed. One-by-one, the lives of who were either imprisoned by the surrounding area, or by choice stayed were picked-off as they lives were lost. Nothing was out of harm’s way and what started as a right of passage for the chosen inheritor soon turned into a catastrophe for the entire village. Akki knew that something needed to be done, however the question was what could be done at this stage? The Elders, or what was left of them came together and soon activated a conjoint jutsu to restrain the child for the time being, but Akki knew that the technique wouldn’t last long as the power was maturing with every moment unscathed.

Channeling the remainder of his chakra into a final resort, Akki entered a string of Kata and soon his body was engulfed in a bright, vivid light as he seemingly merged with the infant apocalyptic and as he did so, the air clamed and soon everything returned to normal. Twelve days after the horrific tragedy, the villagers continued with construction, and Akki’s widowed wife and her child continued to say in the clan’s palace as she tried to make sense of the whole ordeal that had taken place sky of two weeks ago. Akki hadn’t returned and a number of powerful Clan’s members were killed during the attack, thus weakening the defense of the imperial family decreased drastically. It would seem as if the Clan had reached their lowest peak in decades, however with both the political, and finical aid from the main family, the clan would soon return to their once pinnacle stance within Takigakure.

Three years following the transactions of that one faithful night and the desertion of Akki, the young child and his mother wouldn’t waste on answers and soon took to the committee. It would seem that the answer in which they were in search for were finally exposed as Akki had sacrificed his own life to contain the power using a special technique only known to Akki. The news catch Akki’s wife by surprised and soon fled the area, her child still in the care of the council as she did so. Later that night, sorrow consumed the skies as Akki’s wife committed suicide to escape the hurt of her husband’s lost; the child was instructed to live under the care of the Council if calamity befell both parents and as so a proper pseudonym was given, and the birth of the future, the birth of Sōki.

The birth of Sōki, the initiation of deliverance…

To keep the events of what transpired years ago in the past, all documented history of Sōki’s clan, and ritual festival were destroyed upon council order and thus Sōki’s family fell from existence. Now a fellow citizen of Takigakure and not a member of the once precious imperial family, Sōki were expected to live his life like everyone else. However there was one concern that sent fear threw the council. Though sealed for the time being, Sōki’s power was too destructive and untrained to enter the Shinobi academy and thus was assigned special, private training. However not just in the ninja arts, but also those of Sword-play and reason.

Given practically the same lessons as those in the conservatory, Sōki was trained in the essentials of the Shinobi, as well as elementary Swordplay. His lessons came relatively easy which was expected from the one of his Clan and thus advanced and matured quite early. It was odd, though a peaceful child in his youth, fighting and gaining of knowledge came as second-nature to Sōki. His development rate even fascinated that of the council and from that point, he was primary recipient to the title of sovereign over Takigakure in time. With such expectations, Sōki was taught at a very young age to strive for greatness, and to always hold those who he loved close, but those who he hated closer. A frank philosophy for the youth, but would prove to be quite factual.

Years continued to grow fainter away and so with time came gaping potential as Sōki continued with his teachings, though after his secretive commencement, he begun to develop and master what he had learned, soon perfecting it at the age of thirteen. His Ninja arts near peak, and his level of blade skill supreme, Sōki would become a political pictogram for the council as their strict rate of education and training had paid off. Not only mastering the arts of the collective Shinobi, Sōki had unintentionally discovered the power which lied within him, but to also begin the proper establishment of its full potential.

The raise of a Ruler…

The council had justly raised Sōki to fit there perfect diagram for future ruling, not only was he a popular choice within the village, but also showed both power and empathy, Sōki was only treasured as a leader. However with all the eminence and power that one man could receive, there was also pain as Sōki had neither memory of his actual clan, but also his identity. Within such a situation, it was only expected that one become curious and Sōki was no omission. After months of asking around the village and even reaching as far as he his own personal expeditions of the ruins around the village, Sōki couldn’t gain any adequate information and thus the last place that needed to be questioned was the council itself.

Upon return back to the village, Sōki was in shock as he noticed the smell of smoke, and the raging signals of flames that rose vividly overhead. Rushing into the central area without essential information was soon attacked what seemed to be the guards. However there dispatch would soon follow as Sōki made quick work of them; the abrupt attack seemed peculiar and soon the screams of the villagers roamed threw the atmosphere and with that Sōki made his way towards the council hall. Defending him along the way, Sōki had finally reached the ostentatious steps leading directly towards the Council hall, there he met a mysterious male who was draped in all black and before words were exchanged, Sōki found himself in a mortal dispute against the dark inhabitant.

Throughout the battle, Sōki found himself in a stalemate as his opponent wasn’t like those in the past, it would seem as if his opponent actually was in the same elite category as he was, and then it came it him. After twelve minutes of combat, the identity of the mysterious combatant was revealed as the council’s personal bodyguard. Now aware of this fact, Sōki knew that he wasn’t facing a normal Shinobi; the bodyguard was known as Gao and was renowned for his powerful and skillful Swordplay, which even rivaled that of Sōki’s. With both Gao and Sōki fighting at peak efficiency, using the hidden power that was once sealed away, Sōki was able to leave victorious. However not without a number of puncture wounds and several fatal wounds including three stab wounds threw his chest plate armor and four gashes against between his left thigh and right shoulder blade

Cautiously limping into the council antechamber, Sōki found himself facing the ten council members who were at the moment discussing what seemed to be plans for the future which included there continuation as the leading body of political power as well as the disposal of Sōki himself. Before the Council were able to finish the dialogue, Sōki interrupted and began a hardnosed verbal quarrel which included the topics of his premeditated death, the municipal war that had broke threw the streets, and finally there expired statute over Takigakure. After a concentrated, but informing exchange between both parties, it was now plain that Sōki was only a pledge in the council’s actual plans for the regulation of Takigakure and thus was immediately attack. In his own defense, Sōki lamentably slaughtered the council himself, followed by his collapse.

Era of Kaijin no Sōki…

Upon awakening within the council chambers, Sōki noticed he’d lost quite the amount of blood and by a small glance of hope that he’s survived. Making his way back into the open of Takigakure, to his surprise, the war had still raged threw the village and thus something needed to be done. Gradually making his way towards the great tree, Sōki expectedly caught the attention of the villagers and from the respect that had been generated over the years, they stopped momentarily to hear what Sōki had to say. Surprised by the influence that he held over Takigakure, the young leader soon began to speak to the people, discussing what had been discovered the proceeding night, as well as the passing of the council and with that informed withdrew, the citizens soon took Sōki as there Leader in hopes that he could end the war that the council had started on days ago.

Three years subsequent that day, Sōki still holds the covenant title of Takigakure aristocrat, its ruler and as anticipated by the people, the war ended, gradually but certainly and thus Takigakure was re-established and everything had seemed to come into play, but at what price? Since he three years of rule, Sōki has been regarded as one of the furthermost leaders that had set foot on the great waterfall nation’s soil, which is a great tribute in its own right. This was achieved not only threw his number of congested invasion; but threw his opinionated and internal affairs which had placed Takigakure from once in the pits, to the peak of its budding.
Still ruling to this day, Sōki has made quite the name for himself around the world, not only in the lesser villages, but even in the great Shinobi nations for his feared skills in tactics in warfare, but most importantly his empathy towards the world itself. Now eighteen, recent information arose about certain creatures referred to as Biju (Lit “Tailed Beasts”) and threw the maturity of a series of jutsu and the perfection of both his own skills and his veiled power, Sōki plans to purge the world of said creatures and use them for the development of Takigakure’s establishment in the world. However those are not his only goals, as Ruler he also most preserves tranquility and as so, no invasions will go undocumented as long as Sōki rules. One who truly embodies his title will only succeed in the end; keep loved ones close, but those hated closer, Sōki’s life philosophy.
