Shoulder Guard
Ace has a shoulder guard equipped on his right shoulder at all times (besides when sleeping). It is attached via chakra infused straps, and is pretty hard to knock off. It has three spikes inside, but the one in the middle is actually a sword. Once taken out, he adds his chakra into it, and the rest of the blade appears.
