CHECKPOINT If you wish to enter and/or this village you must post here stating your name and presenting identification. Those who fail to do so will not be granted entrance into this village and/or exit out of this village. If you wish to post in this village, without posting at the checkpoint first, you are allowed to do so but be warned that any thread you make is automatically labeled [DE]. I will grant you entrance using a NPC.

No longer could green grass be seen in the distance, replaced by trillions of grains of sand forming large dunes and sandstorms. The city in the distance was a welcome sight to Rinri, as his water bottle was all but empty. As he approached the city he prepared his fake ID which he had used ever since he abandoned Konoha, there was no real need for it as he had committed no crimes in Suna. As he got closer and closer to the guards, he restrained his habitual urge to put his hand on his katana as he did not wish to seem suspicious.

A scout with binoculars perched on the sand walls spotted something in the distance, heading toward the gates of Sunagakure. Lowering his binoculars, he jolted his radio up to his mouth, communicating with the two guards down at the lower gates of the village. "Unknown target, incoming. Over."
He spoke into the radio, transmitting a signal to the guards at the gates below him. One of them received the signal, pressing the radio to his ear. Taking in the transmission, he slowly slid the radio into his pocket and nodded to his other guard. Taking positions in front of the gates, they looked out to see a robed man heading towards them. Who was this man? What did he want with them? And even more importantly, what did he want to do in the village? As the unknown figure headed up to them, one of them spoke to the man. "Your identification card, please."[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Having been holding it in his hand Rinri raised his arm and showed it to the man. He said nothing and adjusted his slightly tinted glasses on his nose. He was surprised at the security, normally villages simply let him walk into the village in this time of peace. Though then again, he was armed quite inconspicuously and probably looked like a samurai to these shinobi.

The guard looked at the identification for a moment, looking back up to the unknown to compare faces. He noticed that the faces were quite different, the man looking quite older now. "Welcome to the village, hope you enjoy your stay. You will have to update this card soon, otherwise you may not be granted entry next time."

After many hours of walking throughout the lush green forest of the fire country Tohoma Maishi felt the temperature change gradually. Instead of feeling nice and cool it became more arid and dry. Within the distance he saw something tan brown. As he continued walking he saw more and more grains of sand. As soon as he new it he found himself in the wind country. He continued walking through the sand and finally saw the entrance to the sand village. He showed his valid ID to the guards and let him in with no problem.
